Bajwa, who is Senior Joint Secretary Information Ministry, has been given additional charge of MD Shalimar Recording Company. Tariq Imam who was MD Shalimar Recording Company has been removed from his job. “Inductions in the PTV and Shalimar Recording Company were made in the previous government in three categories: Contractual, extension and re-employment, and the new minister has decided to review all such cases. It has also been decided that contracts of resource persons who were hired by the previous regime in the PTV on huge salaries will not be renewed,” the official said. “The incompetent retired officers who were recruited in the ministry and its attached departments on hefty salaries with lavish perks and privileges are going to face the axe,” he added.
