CHAKWAL, JUNE 4 (Online): DPO Chakwal Sardar Maqsood Khan took a serious notice about the merciless act by some of the villagers in village Padshahan .

After the publication of story of a widow at the village in different news papers, who was forced to drag and walk semi naked in the streets of the village, DPO directed Dhudial police station to register a case against the accused who humiliated the widow Nargis Sultana. Police registered the case against Muhammad Khurseed, Ali Raza, Imran Sadaq, Muhammad Iqbal and Painda Kha, however no arrest so far has been made till filing of this report. Police sources told that the accused expelled Nargis Sultana from her house when she reached the village after Additional District and Session Judge, Chakwal acquitted her and co-accused in a murder case of her husband Abdul Qayyum. The accused were closed relative of the deceased Abdul Qayyum .
