Sabotage bid foiled in Kohat; weapons recovered

KOHAT, April 18 (Online): A sabotage bid by some unknown terrorists has been foiled by timely actions of security agencies. According to the footage of a local TV network, the Kohat police acting on information received from its sources raided the Sarfaraz Khan Bagh adjacent to Airport, on Tuesday at 0930 hrs, and recovered three fixed rockets, which were even timed! The bomb disposal squad instantly defused the rockets, while the police also discovered a knitted sack loaded with an assortment of weaponry which included five Russian made grenades, three fuses, and some batteries. Meanwhile, police squad of Cantt Thana also found a mortar bomb near, a seminary, and another was also discovered from the environs of ISSB and FG Public School. All the bombs were successfully diffused by the bomb disposal squad.
