SHC grants protective bail to Amin Fahim

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday granted ten-day protective bail to former federal minister for commerce Amin Fahim.
Amin Fahim filed a petition seeking protective bail in the NICL scandal case. Granting bail, the court ordered Fahim to submit bond worth of Rs 500,000.
Fahim is presently on a foreign trip. On Monday, a provincial anti-corruption court issued non-bailable arrest warrants against him and seven others in the case. The anti-corruption court also ordered police to arrest the former minister and present him before the court on April 12.
Fahim, who recently kicked off his election campaign by addressing a public meeting in Bhanote, would face disqualification if convicted in the case.
