ISLAMABAD: Begum Kalsoom Nawaz wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while denouncing the arrests of APDM leaders has said Government has descended upon means tactics and is out to win the Presidential Election through one man show.

This was said by Begum Kalsoom Nawaz in a statement, says a press release issued from PML-N secretariat here Sunday.

Popular revulsion will block president Musharraf re-election and law and constitution will emerge victorious, she underscored. The courageous steps taken by apex court have ensured guarantee for the integrity of the country, she added.

She went on to say 160 million people will comply with every order of the apex court and they will not allow any defiant to put the decisions of the court to cold storage. Had former chief justice of Pakistan Irshad Hassan Khan discharged his obligations in line with commitment to duty and preferred country's future to his own bright future then blood of thousands of innocent people would not have spilled in Lal Masjid, Wana and Balochistan and the country and armed forces would have not been held hostage to General Musharraf, he observed.

? We had made the world and super power realize on May, 28, 1999 that we are alive nation and have courage to take our decisions on our own?, she remarked. The second exile of Nawaz Sharif bears ample evidence that ?we like May, 28 will take every decision in national interest. If there is heavier price than exile, we will also pay it for the sake of integrity and solidarity of the country, she vowed.

She alleged one man was using armed forces for his personal security and safety. The armed forces had not suffered loss of lives at the scale they have suffered for the sake of Musharraf, she added.
