ISLAMABAD: Foreign office has said Pakistan is ready to play its conditional role for resolution of Palestinian issue adding no decision has been taken to recognize Israel.
"President general Pervez Musharraf has not talked about recognition of Israel nor any such decision has been taken. If it renders any help in resolution of issue of Palestine issue, then Pakistan is ready to play its role", this was said by foreign office spokesperson Ms Tasneem Aslam during weekly press briefing Monday.
She told President General Pervez Musharraf started taking initiatives for improvement in Middle East situation and for the settlement of problem of Palestine. Foreign ministers of seven countries met the president and later he addressed Arab League summit conference. It gave way to positive movement forward. Fateh and Hammas reached reconciliation.
President Musharraf is ready to take steps if they are proved helpful for the resolution of issue of Palestine, she said adding Pakistan is still ready.
Pakistan is there and it has come into being to exist, she underscored.
We appeal for release of BBC correspondent, she held. The protection of life of the journalists should be ensured, she stressed.
Replying to a question she told president Musharraf will sign several accords during his visit to Bosnia. President will also address joint session of parliament, she disclosed.
Foreign office spokesperson said Pakistan and Afghanistan are neighbors. Pakistan wants peace , stability and good friendly relations with Afghanistan, she reiterated.
Such statements are emanating from Afghanistan which are against the policies and steps of Pakistan, she underlined. We believe that cross border infiltration should come to end. We will not allow our soil to be used for terrorism. There are scores of problems inside Afghanistan. Narcotics and lawlessness are very vital among them. We are hosting 3 million Afghan refugees. The Afghanis living in these camps provide shelter to the Taliban. We want their return to Afghanistan. President general Pervez Musharraf and Afghan president will meet in Turkey to sort out these problems. Turkish prime minister have extended invitation to both of the presidents, she pointed out.
To a question she said Afghanistan landed in civil war after war with USSR and process of national reconciliation could not start. It is needed there. If national reconciliation takes place, then corruption, narcotics and other problems emerging due to militants can come to end.
Matters related to Pak-Afghan border violation are taken up in the meeting of tripartite commission, she said adding Afghan government has apologized to us on firing at Pakistan border. We want infiltration comes to halt.
She told that the matter of issuance of show cause notice to a private TV channel be taken up with PEMRA and information ministry. "We express solidarity with the journalists. Foreign office is maintaining best relations with journalists. If there is any problem, it should be discussed with PEMRA", she remarked.

That foreign office lady of wisdom and charm has risen to the occasion to rescue the president from the back lash of both Israel and the Hamas. She is like Peolsi, Condi Rice or Hilary Clinton, who are also massaging wisdom to correct the follies of Bush, Blair, Dick Cheney and Ramesfeld.
Hamas may have the reason of continued seige on Palestinians by Israel to rebuff Musharraf.And Israel was too prompt to reject Musharraf as them people can dance the presidents of America the way they wish them.What do they care about Musharraf,who has turned his own internal house upside down and inside out with problems mounting by the day.
The president perhaps does not know that his scope of co-operation stops at disguised terror.His level of appreciation is judged only by how much blood is shed internally of muslims, whether it is Bajaur or some place else.No body cares about the internal peace within Pakistan.
We must be worried more about our own country,which is spinning totally out of control.We must think more seriously about the latest missile tests of India,who has taken a sure and decisive lead over Pakistan by testing super sonic cruise missle and by testing intermediate missile systems that can be retrofitted to drop five times more powerful nuclear punch compared to Ghauri. Indians are poised to test ICBM later and those missiles can have nuclear punch thirty or forty times bigger than our Ghauri has.
Indians made their Abdul Kalam their president.And here in Pakistan, both Musharraf and Benezir have not hesitated to bark against Abdul Qadir, who gave Pakistan Uranium enrichment without which we could have no bomb at all.
Pak nuclear program by A.Q.Khan will allways deter India from attacking Paks, no matter how powerful missiles they make and test.
Some times, due to those reasons, one is tempted to go for an all out praise for Nawaz Sharif, who had the sangine rooted depth of people's support.

LADY TASNIM IS DOING THE PATCH UP WORK THAT THE CIVILIAN MEN RULERS AND THE MILITARY JUNTA'S TOP BRASS HAVE MESSED IT UP INTO UPSIDE DOWN CONDITION. AT LEAST SHE HAS THE GUTS AND COURAGE TO SAY THINGS THAT HER BOSS KASURI COULD'NT EVEN DARE TO SAY.

THE PRESIDENT MAY BE DYING TO GO TO ISRAEL, BUT THE PAKISTANI NATION DOES NOT WANT TO CROSS OVER THE LINE THAT IS HELD BY 90 PERCENT OF ISLAMIC WORLD.THE THREE COUNTRIES(EGYPT, JORDAN AND TURKEY)THAT HAVE RECOGNIZED ISRAEL FORM ONLY LESS THAN 10 PERCENT OF MORE THAN 1.5 BILLION WORLD OF ISLAM.MAJOR ISLAMIC COUNTRIES INDONESIA, IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA, PAKISTAN, MALAYSIA AND MORE THAN FORTY OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE NOT CROSSED OVER THE LINE HELD BY ISLAMIC MAJORITY OF THE WORLD.

WE MUST BE WORKING ON SHIA-SUNI UNITY INSTEAD OF HURRYING TO EMBRACE A BLOCK PLOT THAT IS HELL BENT ON DIVIDING ISLAMIC WORLD ON THOSE DIVISIVE LINES.
EVEN A FOOL, OR EVEN WORSE FOOL, CAN READ INTO THE PLOT IN WHICH LAWRENCE OF ARABIA CULTS READILY JOIN IN.
JUST READ INTO THE MATHEMATICS OF EQUATION THAT ARE BEING FERVENTLY DEVELOPED TO DIVIDE ISLAMIC WORLD.NO BODY OUT THERE IS SYMPATHIZER OF ISLAMIC UNITY.
A PERSON DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE THE BRAIN OF A FISH, WHO WILL BITE THAT PIECE OF WORM TO GET CAUGHT, KILLED AND EATEN UP.

IF IT WAS GENUINE PEACE AND CLEAN HEARTS, EVEN RECOGNITION OF ISRAEL COULD BE CONSIDERED.BUT, IT WAS A CLEAR CUT POLICY THAT WAS BEING OPENLY SPELLED ABOUT CREATING ENOUGH RIFT FOR FUTURE SHIA-SUNI MEGA BLOOD SHED.JUST READ THE NEWS CAREFULLY OF THE PAST THREE OR FOUR WEEKS ABOUT THE EVIL AGENDA FOR MIDDLE EAST PERTAINING TO ISLAMIC BLOOD SHED ON SHIA-SUNI LINES.
MIDDLE EAST IS TOO MUCH COMPLICATED FOR ANY BODY. ONLY ALLAH CONTROLS THE DESTINY OF ALL OVER THERE. THE HANDS OF ALL, INCLUDING THOSE OF SAUDIS, EGYPTIANS, JORDANIANS AND EVEN TURKEY ARE TIED IN IN COMPLEXITIES OF SITUATIONS WHERE ONE THING READILY CANCELS OUT THE OTHER TO LET THE OUTSIDERS RENDERED HELPLESS.
EVEN IN INSIDE MIDDLE EAST, ONE THING ANNULS THE OTHER AND ALL EQUATIONS OF INTRIGUE BECOMES USELESS RIGHT AWAY.

AND ISRAELI POPULATION AND ARMY IS SO SMALL THAT IT WILL BE SPREAD TOO THIN AND DILUTED AND RENDERED FUNCTIONLESS BY THE TIME IT HAS EXPANDED THROUGH HALF OF SYRIA, LET ALONE REACHING IRAN.
AND SOME EMPTY HEADED OR EVEN TRECHEROUS MUSLIM LEADERS STARTED DANCING TO THE MUSIC OF THOSE INTRIGUING EQUATIONS AND TALKS THAT WERE BEING OPENLY DONE TO CREATE FUTURE WARS ON SHIA-SUNNI LINES.
IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT MUSLIM MASSES HAVE STOPPED LISTENING TO THE TRAITERS WITHIN.
WE MUST BE WORKING INSTEAD ABOUT SHI-SUNNI UNITY. JUST READ STATEMENTS THAT WERE OPENLY BEING DISCUSSED WITH THE MONARCHS OF JORDAN, SAUDIA AND THE EGYPTIAN RULERS.
IT IS A VERY INTRICATE WAY OF SUCKING US INTO THE CONSPIRACY.
THANKS, BUT NO THANKS. WE WOULD RATHER WORK ON SHIA-SUNNI UNITY FOR NOW, RATHER THAN BECOMING PART OF A GREATER CONSPIRACY OF PITTING SUNNIS AGAINST SHIAS.
WE ARE ONE AND THAT INCLUDES ALL OF SUNNIS AND ALL OF SHIAS.
LET PAKISTAN BRING DEMOCRACY BACK INTO POWER WHERE PEOPLE AT LARGE ARE PART OF THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS.
CORRUPT OR NOT CORRUPT. AT LEAST THEY(CIVILIANS) ARE FAR LESS DANGEROUS.
