Recognizing Israel

Respected Sir; Assalam o Alaikum!
Actually the first thing is to see that how did Israel come into being, was that a natural process or some enmity/prejudice. Why is the whole West backing Israel and making that a battlefield are acting as a covering group.
No way to accept Israel, yes there can be a permanent solution of that. If all the adjoining states like Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan with Syria make coalition and merge into one single state of Syria having equal rights and religious freedom to all. That state may become more powerful and peaceful.
If these Palestinians are given any authority now they are also not able and just people.
Thankyou Sir.

Avoid stereotype pronouncements

Israelis admit that they were not supposed to even enter the holy land before the coming of their promised Messiah. But they are a community of stiff-necked and rebellious Jews. According to the Qur'an: "Little do they fear the fire of hell." They are generally called Jews but having illegitimately arrived in Palestine, they call themselves Israelis. However, they are Jews first and last.

There are very interesting aspects of Jewish lives. It is said that "Jews have been around for a very ling time --longer than is good for them or for others... Jews were rarely in control of their destinies and where they impinged on history it was because they were in trouble or troublesome..."

As for as Islam is concerned, God has clearly spelled out in the Qur'an that God had told them in their Scripture that He would "continue to rouse against them people who would afflict them with cruel suffering, unto the Day of Resurrection: verily, God is swift in retribution -- yet, verily, He is (also) much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace." (al-A'raf / 167)

The punishment Jews got at the hands of Islamic regime in Medina Sharif, was a continuation of their past misfortunes. There is also a specific mention in 'Sura' Al-Imran that God had told Hazrat Isa ibn Maryam (A.S.) that He would put the Jews who denied his prophethood under the followers of Hazrat Isa (A.S.) unto the Day of Judgment."

Let our "moulvis" and
"maulanas" study the Qur'an in the context of Jews and, then, refrain from crying wolf and talking of "Jihad" against them. Islam was a blessing to the Jews when the sacred Christian city of Jerusalem was handed over in victory to the Caliph 'Umar. The Caliph ended the banishment of Jews from Jerusalem that was made by the Byzantine rulers. He invited Jews to come back and he allotted them living quarters nearer to their holy places, with full freedom of worship to both Christians and Jews. Mention this piece from the book: Jerusalem”, by Karen Armstrong to JI's Amir Qazi sahib and MMA's Maulana Fazal that: 'Umar also expressed the monotheistic ideal of compassion more than any previous conqueror of Jerusalem with the possible exception of “King David”. Once the Christians had surrendered, there was no killing, no destruction of property, no burning of rival religious symbols, no expulsions of expropriations and no attempt to force the inhabitants to embrace Islam. IF A RESPECT FOR THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANTS OF THE CITY IS A SIGN OF THE INTEGRITY OF A MONOTHEISTIC POWER, ISLAM BEGAN ITS LONG TENURE IN JERUSALEM VERY WELL INDEED.” Compare this prestige and respectof Islam in the sacred city of JERUSALEM with the acts of inequity perpeterated by the atheist Zionists. Would anybody still doubt of a divine retribution not in waiting for the Zionists? It is sheer madness on the part of Palestinian leadership and, especially for “Hamas” and other Jihadis to ignore this fact and still seek a parallel state of Palestinians in same territory?

President Musharraf should be provided feedback on Jewish history. It woulb be better for him and Pakistan to simply express sympathy for the Palestinians and avoid the repititive stereotype support for a separate Palestinian state. A statesman in his place would have addressed the Israelis and offered to them a “a safe haven” to save them from a looming divine punishment for their acts of violence and bloodshed in the holyland. How about gibing wide publicity to the following glimpses of Jewish history under the benevolent Ottoman Empire?

"The Jews introduced various arts and industries into the country. They distinguished themselves also as physicians and were used as interpreters and diplomatic agents. Salim I. (1512-20), the successor of Bayazid II., employed a Jewish physician, Joseph Hamon. This ruler also was kind to the Jews; and after the conquest of Egypt (1517) he appointed Abraham de Castro to the position of master of the mint in that country. Salim changed the administrative system of the Jews in Egypt, and abolished the office of nagid. It is interesting to note that the Turkish Jews were in favor of the conquest of Egypt, whereas the orthodox Muslims opposed it.
Suleiman I (the magnificent) (1520-66), like his predecessor Salim I., had a Jewish body-physician, Moses Hamon II., who accompanied his royal master on his campaigns. Turkey at this time was at the high-water mark of its power and influence and was feared and respected by the great powers of Europe. Its Jews were correspondingly prosperous. They held positions of trust and honor, took part in diplomatic negotiations, and had so much influence at court that foreign Christian ambassadors were frequently compelled to obtain favors through them. Commerce was largely in their hands; and they rivaled Venice in maritime trade. In Constantinople they owned beautiful houses and gardens on the shores of the Bosporus.

Pakistan has no plans

Nop harm to recognise when the time is right. Pakistani politics has got their own agenda and do understand when and how to recognise looking at the situtions around the world. By recognising there is no loss to Pakistan but lot could be gained.
