Islamabad- As petrol crisis continued on the ninth consecutive day in Punjab, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan today January,20,2015 declared PML-N government ‘worse’ than the previous five-year rule of PPP.

“Nawaz Sharif’s government turned out to be more incompetent than Zardari’s government,” Imran said while talking to media at Bani Gala before his departure to Peshawar. To a question, the PTI chief said that if petrol shortage is a conspiracy against the government, it would definitely be hatched by ruling PML-N itself.

“Now no one could blame PTI sit-in for the current petrol crisis,” he said. Imran said that he was all set to announce the countrywide lockdown, but Sharif’s government did so itself.

To another query regarding ex-CJ defamation lawsuit worth Rs 20 billion against him, he said that he would fight the case against Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The PTI chairman said that he is short of Rs 20 billion and he is considering borrowing some money from Arsalan Iftikhar, who he said ‘made a huge sum of money’. Khan said that he is visiting Peshawar, where Chehlum of Army Public School martyrs is being observed in Chief Minister House. He said he would meet parents of the martyred schoolchildren at CM House, where the provincial government would make announcements to alleviate the sufferings of aggrieved families.
