LONDON – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the High Level Segment of London Conference on Afghanistan on Thursday.

On the sidelines, Prime Minister Nawaz will also hold bilateral meetings with British Home Secretary Theresa May, British International Development Secretary Justine Greening and US Secretary of State John Kerry. Before the High Level Segment, Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will represent Pakistan at the Ministerial Level Segment of the Conference holding thematic discussions regarding opportunities and challenges to greater regional cooperation in various areas.

On Wednesday, Sartaj Aziz was scheduled to attend a reception in connection with London Conference on Afghanistan to be followed by a dinner in which regional economic cooperation will come under discussion. The prime minister arrived here on Tuesday on the invitation of British Prime Minister David Cameron to attend the London Conference on Afghanistan. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah will also attend the conference.
