PCG recovers foreign brand liquor, arrests 33 illegal immigrants

Karachi: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) on Sunday intercepted 33 illegal immigrants including 13 Afghanis on charge of illegal border crossing from coastal area of Makran during night patrolling. These illegal immigrants 13 Afghanis and 20 others hailing from different parts of the country were destined for onward journey to Gulf/European countries. In another attempt, PCG officials during routine patrolling saw suspicious speedboat in Gwadar area. On seeing PCG troops approaching the smugglers fled in their speedboat leaving the bails behind which contained five hundred bottles of foreign brand smuggled liquor. Further investigation is in underway by the PCG special investigation team.
