PCG arrests 03 drug traffickers, recovered Opium and Hashish

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) apprehended 3 drug traffickers and recovered 137kg Hashish and 5kg of Opium from a passenger coach here at Uthal check post RCD Highway on Wednesday.

PCG officials during routine checking intercepted a coach and on checking recovered 137kg Hashish and 05kg of Opium hidden in betel nuts sack. The driver and conductor were arrested and taken into custody for investigation.

Similarly, another trafficker was nabbed at Aghor Check-Post at Coastal Highway and possessed 10kg of Opium. Further investigation is in progress by the PCG special investigation team.
