No one will be allowed to usurp Punjab rights: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that no one will be allowed to usurp the rights of Punjab. Instead of looters, a real national leadership should sit together and decide about the creation of new provinces, he added.
Talking to media persons at the inaugural ceremony of Mian Mir Sports Complex here Sunday, Shahbaz Sharif said that any looter will not be allowed to plunder the resources of Punjab.
He said that the day of judgment of the plunderers of national wealth has become near and the nation will hold them accountable and recover from them the looted national wealth.
The Chief Minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-N is in favour of creation of more than one provinces but the real national leadership should decide about it with mutual consultation.
He asked why the voice was not being raised for the Bahawalpur province today which is an injustice to the people of Bahawalpur.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Bahawalpur province should have been restored after dissolution of one unit but by not doing so, the people of Bahawalpur were exploited.
He said that we are not against the creation of new provinces. However, instead of looters, such a national leadership should decide about it which have deep love with Pakistan and have the passion of sacrificing everything for the survival and security of the country.
