LONDON, April 30 (Online): Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri has said there are no US troops in Pakistan.
While talking in Pakistani high commission in London on Friday he said that leadership of both Pakistan and India had agreed that Kashmiri leadership should be included in composite dialogue process.
He went on to say that people of both the countries wanted peace and tranquillity in the region. People also are keen that a durable solution to lingering Kashmir issue is explored.
Kasuri welcomed Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh statement that both the countries would have to hold purposeful talks to find a lasting solution to Kashmir dispute.
Kasuri reiterated that a durable peace would remain elusive in the region unless Kashmir problem was sorted out.
He told that US troops were not present in Pakistan saying a small number of them are there in cities who can be counted on finger tips.
End.
