Musharraf urges Int`l Community to break network of terrorists, Drug Smugglers

ISLAMABAD: President General Pervez Musharraf Thursday urged International Community for early repatriation of Afghan Refugees and for breaking the network of terrorists and Drug Smugglers.
President expressed these views while talking to Federal Minister SAFRON Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind on Thursday.
The meeting lasted for quite a while between the two leaders in which host of issues were discussed at Aiwan-e-Saddar.
Sources reveal that Rind briefed the President about the recent repatriation policy and procedures to send back the Afghan Refugees in a dignified manner.
President told Rind that we are bearing the burden of Afghan Refugees since a long period now adding that they have been kept in camps and are being given optimum facilities in this regard.
He said that some of the camps are being used for negative purpose thus we have eliminated such camps from the country.
He said that we wished for early repatriation of Afghan Refugees from the country.

He further said that increasing opium cultivation in Afghanistan is a distressing factor adding that it is need of hour to break the network created between terrorists and Drug Smugglers.
SAFRON Minister lauded the measures taken by the Government adding that only due to Government`s prudent steps, Balochistan is on the road of progress and prosperity and will be maintained.
He said that awareness has been created among people of Balochistan adding that now no one will oppose the development in Balochistan.
