Musharraf exchanges views on politics with Pagaro

President's address to Parliament and flight diversion of vocal opposition members

KARACHI, July 13 (Online): President General Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday exchanged views on prevailing political situation in country with Pakistan Muslim League (F) Chief and spiritual leader of Hur Jamaat Pir Pagaro, veteran politician and former Prime Minister Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi and others.

The President for the first time held a meeting in connection of political affairs at Chief Minister House where Chief Minister Sindh Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim hosted luncheon in honour of the President.

Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Senior Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed, PML Additional General Secretary Sindh Abdul Gaffar Qureshi, Sindh Minister for Irrigation Nadir Akmal Leghari and others were also present in the meeting.

The president discussed in detail political issues with Pir Pagaro, Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, Abdul Gaffar Qureshi and Nadir Akmal Leghari.

PML affairs came under special focus during the meeting. Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim briefed the President about arrangements for forthcoming Local Bodies elections in Sindh.

Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim presented momento of Sindhi cap, Ajrak, Sindh Khais and quilt to the President.
