ISLAMABAD, December 09 (Online): Pakistan has denied that its missions abroad have started issuing invitations to their Israeli counter-parts for official functions.

Pakistan Sections of the local media had quoted BBC to the effect that Pakistani Embassies abroad have started issuing invitations to their Israeli counter-parts for official functions.

Foreign office spokesperson in a statement said, "It is clarified that this news item is purely speculative and that no instructions have been issued to Pakistan’s Diplomatic Missions abroad to include Israeli diplomats in their functions".
