ISLAMABAD: Khateeb Lal Masjid and member of Taliban-nominated committee Maulana Abdul Aziz on Sunday said the current Constitution of Pakistan is un-Islamic.

Maulana Abdul Aziz told a private TV channel he is determined on his point of view and will continue regarding the Constitution of country. Islamic laws of Pakistan are the biggest lie of the century, he added.

Maulana Aziz said the Constitution was constituted according to the British laws. Maulana said he is ready to debate on the Constitution with those ulema, who declare the Constitution as Islamic.

Khateeb Lal Masjid said he is not hopeful about the success of ongoing peace talks and if any agreement is developed it would not go long.
