MQM MPA Irum Farooqi resigns

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement MPA Irum Azeem Farooqi has declared her resignation from the provincial assembly on a social website.
She stated on the website that she loves her Quaid, Altaf Hussain and his party "but cannot work with selfish people because such people are damaging the party's reputation". She said that her seat in the assembly was not her priority but honour and respect.
She said that she would always be loyal to her Quaid and the party.
