RIYADH – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that death of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz is a great loss for Pakistan as it is deprived of a sincere and great friend.

He expressed these views while talking to journalist before leaving for Pakistan after attending the funeral prayers of late King Abdullah, monarch of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday 23,January,2015. The prime minister expressing his deep grief over the sad demise of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz lauded his services for the welfare of Muslim Ummah.

He said that the deceased was a well wisher and the people of Pakistan would always miss him. The prime minister pointed that the King had a special affection for Pakistan and its people. He recalled the outpouring of sympathy and generous support in the aftermath of the devastating floods and earthquake in Pakistan.
