Jamia Hafsa matter settled through peaceful dialogue, says Shujaat

ISLAMABAD: President PML Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Monday said that Jamia Hafsa matter has been solved through a process of peaceful dialogue. While expressing his views in a private TV program, Shujaat was of the view that we discussed ten issues with Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid Administration, out of ten, nine turned out to be successful. He said that process of dialogue is underway on Library issue hoping it will be solved with mutual consensus too. He said credit must be given to the Government in solving the issue peacefully as more than 2,000 students are studying in Jamia Hafsa stressing that without use of force, matter has been solved. He further hoped that Administration of Jamia Hafsa would not try to take law in their hands in future. While answering a question on President Musharraf's remaining in uniform, Shujaat added that President Musharraf has not given any time frame in this regard. He added that no deal is taking place with PPP stressing that PML biggest rival in forthcoming elections is PPP.
