BADIN: Former Prime Minister Mir Zafar Ullah Jamali has said that contacts between Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and the government are underway and would yield results but ruled out any deal between the two parties.

Talking to reporters here, the former Prime Minister said that the next general elections would be held in a free, fair and transparent manner and those who are talking about the possibility of rigged elections are living in fools paradise.

Mir Zafar Ullah Jamali said that the death of Nawab Akbar Bugti has not affected the political situation of Balochistan and the political future of the province is bright.

Commenting on Kala Bagh Dam issue, the former Prime Minister said that the present government cannot even think of the construction of the dam against the will of the people of the country.

Giving his views on possibility of PML success in next general elections, the former Prime Minister said that PML would win the next general elections with the huge majority, adding that the present provincial assemblies can re-elect General Pervez Musharraf.
