22 August, 2009
NEW DELHI: India Friday handed to Pakistan a fresh dossier on Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, accused by it of being the mastermind behind the Mumbai terror attack.
According to sources, the dossier was handed over during a meeting of Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik. The meeting had been convened at the request of the Pakistani envoy, reported IANS.
The new information pertains specifically to Saeed. Pakistan had earlier alleged that it had not got enough information from India to prosecute Saeed.
