ISLAMABAD: The Federal Interim government on Sunday issued a notification of an increase in petroleum prices. According to the notification, the petroleum price will see a surge of Rs7.54 which sets the 1 litre petrol at 99.55 rupees.

An increment of Rs0.36 in kerosene oil is notified by the government. The new price of kerosene oil is  87.70 rupees per litre.

The price hike of diesel is Rs14.00, light diesel Rs.5.92 and high-speed diesel Rs6.55. The new price of high-speed diesel is Rs119.31 per litre and the price of light speed diesel is Rs80.91 per litre.
