Imran says will not rest until PM is 'out'

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday reiterated that the sit-in would continue until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation.
Imran said there was no equality, rights and justice for a majority of Pakistanis, adding that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would provide equality, justice and peace to the people.
"There is something wrong in the bottom as Nawaz Sharif is reluctant to resign for only a period of one month because he knows about massive poll rigging observed during last general elections of 2013," he claimed while speaking to his charged workers from atop his container at D-Chowk.
Addressing the PM, the skipper said, "Nawaz Sharif, I will not trust you and your words, as we believe that you were involved in the poll rigging, ballot stuffing and match fixing. You robbed the mandate of the people with the connivance of your team."
The PTI chairman also said, "You [Nawaz] have no moral authority to rule this country after telling a lie in the joint parliamentary session."
Imran Khan alleged that two lawmakers from Lahore and a police official were involved in the killing of MQM lawmaker Tahira Asif and National Party legislator Hendri Masih. He said both were murdered because they were fighting for the minorities' rights. Imran vowed to disclose the names of those involved in the killing on Saturday.
Imran said, "I am waiting for Saturday anxiously and we will prove that we are one nation."
Remembering Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his death anniversary, the PTI leader said, "Quaid's vision for Pakistan is our guide today and we will struggle to make the country the way father of nation wanted it to be."
Protest was the democratic right of the people and no one could deny it, he said while appealing to the chief justice of Pakistan to order the government to remove 800 containers placed in Islamabad.
