Imran Khan in Makkah to attend OIC

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday arrived Jeddah after a brief stay at Madinah Munawwara where he paid respects and offered prayer at Masjid-e-Nabvi.
On his arrival, the prime minister was received by Governor Makkah Region Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport of Jeddah, a PM Office statement said.
The prime minister is in Saudi Arabia to represent Pakistan at the 14th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to be held in Makkah on Friday.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Madina for a three-day visit to attend the 14th Summit of Origination of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held in Makkah today (Friday). After paying a visit to Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and offering Nawafil in Madina, the prime minister will depart for Jeddah.
According to a PM House press statement, Imran Khan is representing Pakistan at the 14th OIC Summit titled ‘Makkah Summit: Together for the Future”, hosted by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which aims at developing a unified stance of Muslim leaders on rising tension in the Gulf.
