LAHORE – Imam of the Ka’aba, Dr Shaikh Khalid Al-Ghamidi led Fajr prayers at Jamia Mosque Mansoora on Saturday. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq and Secretary General Liaquat Baloch warmly welcomed Shaikh Khalid Al-Ghamidi on his arrival in Mansoora.

Addressing the gathering of about ten thousand people after the prayers, Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Khalid Al-Ghamidi said that Saudi Arabia’s government and its citizens are proud of the people of Pakistan, adding he came to Pakistan to meet his Muslim brethrens.

JI Amir Sirajul Haq said that, “Our hearts beat with the people of Saudi Arabia. It should not consider itself alone in these hard times.”

Sheikh Khalid Al-Ghamdi said that “Yemen is being pushed into terrorism and for this reason, Saudi government responded to the call for help from the Yemeni brethren”. Imam Ka'aba stressed the need for unity in the Muslim Ummah to halt all the conspiracies of enemies
