Happy Defence Day to All Pakistan

Nation is commemorating the national Defence Day to honour and commemorate the sacrifices Pakistan Army's soldiers, who gave their lives for the defence of the motherland.
On 6th September 1965, Pakistan Army successfully defended an Indian army onslaught and was able to secure its borders after more than a couple days' intense war. The day commenced with special prayers for the country's security, progress and development. In various cities of Pakistan, small and large events celebrating the event of 1965 were held.
India's unprovoked act of aggression was met with a befitting response by Pakistan Army. Indian army violated Pakistan's borders and attacked first at midnight on September 6, 1965 at Bambanwala Ravi Bediyan (BRB) Canal. A small contingent of the Pakistani armed forces, which included the valiant Major Aziz Bhatti, were able to hold back the enemy, despite being small in number.
Change of guards ceremonies will also be held at the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Apart from senior politicians and government officials, senior military officials and the general public are also expected to lay floral wreaths at the mausoleums and offer prayers.
6th September was the day when Pakistan demonstrated to the world that it was capable of defending its borders against an enemy that was much lethal than it was. When the soldiers of Pakistan were able to push back the enemy and defeat its nefarious objectives. Major Raja Aziz Bhatti is the most celebrated hero of the 1965 war and also a recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider.
