LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has said that that the current federal government is a product of rigging and all parties have to be united to get rid of it.

Speaking to media from his residence in Lahore, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the legal and moral justification of the government for staying in power ended after the Model Town Incident.

He also said that the government is going to file cases of the Model Town Incident against the deceased and injured.

He also said that there is no chance that the military will be intervening to get rid of the country, he added.

The PML-Q leader said that his party is trying to get all the opposition parties on a single platform. He also claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will make a deal with the government.

Pervez Elahi, while supporting Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) rally in favor of Pakistan Army, said that his party will send relief goods to the camps of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) soon.

End.
