ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has agreed to allow export of 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan.

"We stand by our Afghan brothers and sisters in their hour of need." He said this while talking to President Hamid Karzai who telephoned him on Thursday morning.

The prime minister expressed the confidence that the relations between the two countries would continue to grow stronger.
