ISLAMABAD: Ameer, Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam (F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday opposed army operation in North Waziristan Agency.

As per media reports, the JUI-F chief said his party neither supports army operation nor would oppose it, however, he expressed his grave concern over casualties of innoncent persons in army operation.

He said targeting common man in the name of operation would not be acceptable at any cost. Maulana Fazl said that the masses have given mandate to the PML-N to decide in this regard.

The JUI-F chief said only the people of FATA being targeted, which is regrettable.
