EC releases details of assets of parliamentarians

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission (EC) has released details of assets of members of parliament for the year 2013-14 on web site.
As per these details assets worth over Rs 1.52 billion including agriculture land, factories, Pakistani and foreign currency and jewelery are held by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
Total value of assets held by Imran Khan, chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) comes to over Rs 59.3 million. The assets include agriculture land, vehicles and bank accounts.
Total value of assets held by PPP central leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim has not been shown. However 5 bungalows worth Rs 63 million in Karachi, Farm house in Rawalpindi and an apartment costing 4.2 million darham in Dubai are shown to be owned by him. 306 acres land stands in the name of his children.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman owns assets valuing over 7.3 millions including bank deposits running into Rs 1608380, gold jewelery valuing Rs 950000, 2 houses worth Rs 4 million and one plot valuing Rs 700000.
MQM central leader Farooq Sattar has shown that he holds the assets valuing Rs 3641168. His bank deposit runs into Rs 1478250.
