ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Friday underlined that services of Nuclear Scientist Dr Qadeer Khan are unforgettable for the country adding that we will not hand him over to any other country.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz expressed these views while addressing the launching ceremony of Bhamboor Express Train in Railway Carriage Factory in Islamabad on Friday.
While addressing workers, Shaukat Aziz said that workers play an important role in our society adding that their services cannot be overlooked for the welfare of the country.
He was of the view that no country can succeed without the gigantic efforts of labourers.
He said that labourers are the dignity and honour of the country adding that Government is taking down to earth steps for the welfare of the workers.
We are proud of our labourers, he said.
Shaukat Aziz said that Pakistan is the only Islamic country which is blessed with Nuclear capability adding that not only Islamic countries but entire world looks towards Pakistan in a cherished manner.
While commenting on the services of Dr Qadeer, Shaukat Aziz stressed that the services of Nuclear Scientist Dr Qadeer Khan are unforgettable for the country.
He said that we would not hand over the Nuclear Scientist to any other country.
He said that country interest comes first then personal interest adding that we will not let any one cast evil eye on our asset.
He said that Government encourages political activity but must be done in a proper way.
He termed the Karachi suicide attacks as highly deplorable underlining that many innocent lives were lost in it.
He further said that when President Musharraf took charge for the first time, the economic condition of the country was at a sheer setback, National Exchequer was virtually empty, however President Musharraf's prudent policies put Pakistan on road to progress.
