Demo against US for using Saddam execution to ignite sectarian rift among Muslims

KARACHI, Jan 6(Online): The Imamia Student Organisation on Saturday held a protest demonstration against US attempt to misuse Saddam execution for stroking sectarian rift among Muslims, especially to break Muslim unity in Arab world and divide Iraq on sectarian lines, here in front of Karachi Press Club.
Scores of ISO activists holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against US and Israel attended the demonstration. They set ablaze US and Isreali flags in protest.
The demonstration was addressed by President ISO Karachi Division, Syed Ali Naqvi, Allama Aftab Hyder Naqvi and others .
They termed Saddam execution as \'logical outcome of his criminals acts\' and condemned, what they said so-called scholars and intellectuals\' for their remarks against \'Aza Dari\' (mourning).
They denounced the US attempt to divide Iraq on sectarian basis and fueling the sectarian violence and declared it a conspiracy to tarnish the unity of Arab Muslims. They vowed to foil US attempt.
During the demonstration activists of ISO raised slogans in favour of sectarian harmony and unity of Shia and Sunnis.
