Daughter born in Prince William and Kate family

LONDON - The Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to a baby girl weighing 8lbs 3oz just two and a half hours after going into hospital, The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
Cheering broke out just after 11am as word spread that Kensington Palace had announced the birth of a baby girl. First through a notice on its website, then via a tweet two minutes later, the palace stated that the Duchess “was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am.” That was the signal for cries of “three cheers for the royal baby” to begin, followed by a lusty “hip hip hooray” from assembled well wishers and passers-by.
The Princess is the first born into the Royal family for 25 years, the last being Princess Eugenie in 1990 (though there have been other girls, including Lady Louise Windsor and Mia Tindall), no name yet for the baby princess who is fourth in line to the throne after the Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince George.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and delighted with the news.
