KARACHI: Samsung Electronics, the world's number 1 manufacturer of semiconductors and the world-wide digital information technology leader inaugurated its second Concept Shop in the Electronic Hub of the city.

The premium products of Samsung will be accessible at Ameer Music Concept Shop for consumer's convenience. Waheed Memon, President, Karachi Electronic Dealers Association inaugurating the shop.

Samsung has adapted the idea of series of Concept Shops around the city and will increase the number of such shops throughout the country. The first concept shop is a great success and consumers are able to see demonstration of the products at this shop. The company has become the leader in unit sales and revenue within the entire global LCD TV market. Samsung has leaped forward to truly become the global top brand.

At the inauguration Ceremony, Jingak Chung, Senior Manager, Samsung stated "Samsung is the leading brand of LCD and Plasma TV sets. This shop is our second concept shop in the Electronic hub of the city and will provide genuine Samsung products." He also mentioned "Samsung's complete range of LCD, Plasma TV, Camcorders and MP3 players can be seen in The Concept Shop."

Samsung have manufactured many products to exemplify everyone's lifestyle. The company had first gained a leading position in unit share and total revenue since the third quarter of last year, and has been steadily widening the gap with competitors. By third quarter of 2006, Samsung has finally occupied the top position in unit volume and sales earnings within the entire global TV market. According to a local market survey Samsung has particularly made the splendid sales record of Samsung's LCD and Plasma TVs during the 48th week of the year as the best selling brand and is making future prospects brighter. The company has also pioneered in making micro-compact camcorders which are very handy and smart. The new Samsung MP3 players are making a niche in the market by having unique design and features.
