HYDERABAD: Rioters in southern India killed six members of a Muslim family by setting fire to their home after earlier clashes between Hindus and Muslims left four others dead and 15 injured in the same village, officials said on Sunday.

Tensions have been high in Vatoli village since Friday when violence and looting erupted between the two sides, leading to four deaths, said Andhra Pradesh state Home Minister K Jana Reddy.

“It is a beastly and barbaric act,” Reddy told reporters on Sunday. “Police are investigating the case and we will catch the culprits.” Three children, including a 2-year-old, were among the six burned to death, he said.

“Despite our repeated pleas and appeals, the government has failed to provide protection to the Muslims who live in remote areas and who have a very small population in those places,” said Asaduddin Owaisi, an Indian parliamentarian.

End.

Indian Muslims and Pakistan

Muslims of india are probably the most unfortunate people today. These are the people are the most affected after partition the folly of which is seen both in india and Pakistan. It was the Muslims of UP,Hyderabad and Bengal who voted vehemently in favour of an independent islamic state after having been propmpted by Janab Jinnah's speeches. Fearing Hindu hegemony and apprehension for the future of the entire Muslim community in the sub-continent the Qaid was not completely wrong. The far right Hindu parties were actually talking of 'showing the Muslims a lesson after the British left'.They shamelessly declared that if the Muslims chose to live in india they should be prepared to live as second class citizens. The grounds were right for an independent Musim homeland but the practicality was far from being realistic. East punjab was the only area that benefited from partition as the west punjabi Musliims looked upon them as their own.The Muslims of UP Hyderabad and other areas of india though most vociferous and enthusiastic to escape from an ominous threat from the Hindus were not really welcome in the newly founded state. This was a betrayal to the ideology of a Muslim homeland.Partition in reality benefited and was probably actually meant for the wealthy landlords and aristorcrats of the Punjab. This was proved by how East pakistan was discriminated and exploited,How Baluchistan,NW frontier were discriminated and neglected. This was shockingly also proved with the neglect and genocide of the so called Mohajir community of Karachi during Benazir's time. She used to refer to Mohajir's as 'people with bad blood'.Yet it was the fathers and grandfathers of these people who fought in every way for an independent land for all Muslims of the sub-continent. Yet this is the way they were treated. Thank Allah they fought back and have a fairly srong political party. The assasination of Liaqat Ali Khan in proved the point that the unislamic character meanness and racism was the new ideology of the new found land. The foolish and equally racist policy of genocide of the Bengalis muslims proved that MA Jinnah's dream just became a nightmare. The purpose failed.
Now those Muslims who stayed back in India after voting for pakistan are paying the price heavily.Still one has to commend their bravery in standing up for their rights in spite of al the odds.In their hearts they have always secretly supported and held in affection the land of pakistan founded by their forefathers. They have resisted all attempts by the far right Hindu politicians to coerce them to become Hindus. They are today fighting back.Again , the secular parties of India are not altogether bad and the constitution of India actually actually condemns dsicrimination of minorities although the Indian government has not actually acted in bringing to justice those politicians who have openly preached unbelievable hate and encouraged acts of genocide against the helpless Muslim minorities. These acts are still going on even after 60 years and it will go on forever unless India implements its constitution instead of boasting about its liberal clauses to the international community with futility. Burning of Muslims has been a regular feature. This is a Hindu concept of perpetual punishment. They look upon Muslims of India fit to be burnt as if they were insects.Yet there are millions of Hindus living and working and enjoying immensely the materialistic bendfits of the many muslim countries. The Hindus are doing sometimes bettere than the Muslims in countries of Dubai Kuwait etc. The leaders of these cuntreis should look into this behaviour of the fascist hindus of india and stop and send back all Hindus working in the Gulf as a reciprocity of their evil behaviour with the unfortunate muslims of india.
No Hindu should be allowed to work in any Muslim country at all. There are enough Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan too. Dont know why. They take advantage of Afghan's sense of tolerance and simplicity.
Muslims of India are Indian citizens and have every right to be treated with equality and respect. The Pakistanis foolishly accuse them for not having moved to Pakistan when they had the chance.Could everyone have gone/What happened to those who did go. Were they all accepted as Pakistanis? This is the big question. Well past is past and one has to go on .Muslims must look upon each other as members of the Umma and sympathise and act according to the wish and advice of the holy Prophet(mpuh). Islam became almost redundant in new found Pakistan as ethnicity raised its ugly head.Fortunately this was well curbed during Musharaf's rule which was something commendable.
Muslims of India and pkistan are fundamentally the same people in spite of linguistic, and geographical differences as they are religiously similar.
