U.N. chief heads to Baghdad to meet with PM |

Iraq: The Secretary General of United Nations, Ban Ki-moon left for Baghdad on Thursday to meet the Iraqi prime minister to discuss the sitation prevailing in the war-torn country.
This is the first time the secretary genral is visiting the troubled state since he took the charge of the UN. According to reports, during his one day stay in Baghdad he would hold talks with iraqi Prime Minister,Nouri al-Maliki regarding the peace and security in Iraq.
The top U.N. official was last in Baghdad when Ban's predecessor, Kofi Annan, visited the capital in November 2005.
