QUETTA: All the victims of Kirani blast have been laid to rest in Hazara Graveyard amid protests, our sources reported.

The families of victims of Quetta's Hazara Town blast had decided to bury bodies of their loved ones at 9 am, however, it was delayed as the coffins were taken to graveyard for burial, the women protesters occupied the graves demanding that they be buried first before their beloved ones.

The heart-rending scene enraged some among the protesters resorted to aerial firing that led to cross firing by the police creating panic and commotion that halted the burial process, however, no one was hurt.

At least 89 people were killed and over 100 injured in a horrific bombing in Quetta's Hazara Town on Saturday.

Earlier, a report said that the Shia Ulemas succeeded in pacifying the heirs of the victims, especially the hundreds of women who felt betrayed by the sudden announcement of ending the sit-in and burial on Wednesday at 9.00 A.M, while the coffins though belatedly were carried to the graveyard.

End.
