Sirajul Haq said that the JI as well as all political parties had been demanding electoral reforms and fresh elections without these reforms would be meaningless. Earlier, a delegation of different tribes from North Waziristan called on the JI chief and apprised him of the problems arising due to the military operation.
Sirajul Haq stressed upon the government to allow the displaced families belonging to areas which had been cleared to return home and also arrange transport for them. He said that a high level Jirga should be set up to assess the losses caused by the military operation and cover that.
