PSO gears up to address petrol shortage

KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has ordered tonnes of petrol from across the country to resolve the shortage in Punjab, Our Sources reported.
KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has ordered tonnes of petrol from across the country to resolve the shortage in Punjab, Our Sources reported.
Spokesperson of Oil Tankers Contracters Association has said that PSO has ordered 50,000 metric tonnes of petrol from Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
He added that all the terminals of the state institution are open today and petrol is being loaded in the tankers.
The spokesperson also said that oil tankers have left for Punjab and more of them will leave for the province by Sunday night.
It should that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered immediate resolution of the petrol crises in Punjab.
